Americans love natural light and search
for ways to allow light into their homes, especially
here in Southwest Florida. Today's windows are made
to allow as much light in as possible. This allows
us to enjoy the magnificent views in Naples and surrounding
areas. Light provides homeowners with a visual impact—it
elevated moods, transfers heat inside in colder months
and actually contributes to our health.
Here in Southwest Florida, windows
have taken on a whole new dimension in new buildings
and residences. Newer homes are designed with large
windows around patio areas, windows on top of windows,
windows in ceilings and windows in areas where they
were never before found. At AAA Blind Factory, we
pride ourselves in helping you to select the right
window treatment for enhancing your windows and views.
WIth so many choices, we can assist you in bringing
that life-giving force—the sun—into your
home as an inviting accent to your decorating.
Safety Tip:
If you have older blinds that do not have built in
safety mechanisms to prevent strangulation by small
children, this is a good reason to consider replacing
your blinds. In 1994, the Window Covering Safety Council
introduced a "voluntary" standard that includes
a safety mechanism in blinds to prevent strangulation.
Today all reputable manufacturers adhere to this standard;
however beware of "mom and pop" products
that may not meet these new standards. If you have
older blinds that you do not wish to replace, you
may be able to meet these safety standards by re-stringing
them with a repair kit. WCSC provides this repair
kit free of charge. You can call for information at
1(800) 506-4636 or contact them on their website at
